Virtually Staged, Actually Sold
Rather than hauling in the furniture and accessories and spending time with all the logistics, this project utilized virtual staging. Furniture is placed in each photograph within seconds and now you have a staged room! Of course, this works best in a vacant home. If the home being sold with the owner occupying the space, then I recommend a staging consultation where we go through the home and stage with what is physically available. Take a look at the before and after photos!
As with any thought to furniture placement in reality, I also must think about which items to place and how to arrange the items. I opted to create an outdoor space that invites people to sit and relax.
The living/dining room are small areas, so I chose furniture that is the right size to fit in the room so as not to clutter it, but still allow it to feel inviting and comfortable.
I had to think about the furniture placement in the living room from two different views.
Bedrooms can be challenging. Especially if they are on the small side. A standard camera lens cannot capture the whole size of the room usually, so there is a need to use a wide-angle lens. This sometimes causes some distortion to the image, making it looked a bit stretched. I have to place the furniture so that it follows the slight stretching to keep with the composition.
